दिनांक 19 अगस्त 2021 को माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ द्वारा घोषणा की गई कि राज्य सरकार द्वारा 3 हजार करोड रुपए की लागत लगाकर उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य के नौजवानों को जोकि स्नातक परास्नातक डिप्लोमा व अन्य किसी तकनीकी शिक्षा प्राप्त करने वाले नौजवानों को इस योजना के अंतर्गत जोड़ा जाएगा तथा उन्हें 1 करोड स्मार्टफोन टेबलेट इत्यादि सरकार के द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे परंतु इस निधि के अंतर्गत सरकार द्वारा लैपटॉप के बारे में कोई चर्चा नहीं की गई है
