Latest Update UP Scholarship News : उत्तर प्रदेश के अनुसूचित जाति व सामान्य वर्ग के कक्षा 10 से नीचे की कक्षाओं में पढ़ने वाले गरीब जरूरतमंद छात्र-छात्राएं आगामी 24 जुलाई से छात्रवृत्ति के लिए आनलाइन आवेदन कर सकेंगे। आनलाइन आवेदन करने की यह प्रक्रिया 12 अक्तूबर तक अनवरत जारी रहेगी। इसी क्रम में कक्षा दस से ऊपर की कक्षाओं में पढ़ने वाले उपरोक्त वर्ग के छात्र-छात्राएं आगामी पहली अगस्त से 5 नवम्बर तक छात्रवृत्ति और फीस भरपाई के लिए आनलाइन आवेदन कर सकेंगे। इसमें कक्षा 11 व 12 के अलावा स्नातक, परास्नातक, मैनेजमेंट, इंजीनियरिगं, मेडिकल, नर्सिंग आदि पाठ्यक्रमों से संबंधित छात्र-छात्राएं शामिल हैं।

Important : Aadhaar card has now been made compulsory for reimbursement of fee to economically weaker meritorious. No payment will be made without this. Till now, payment was made even in the absence of Aadhaar. It will also be mandatory to link the Aadhar card to the bank account. Not only this, it will be mandatory to seek financial consent for payment of fee reimbursement.

Summary:  Fee reimbursement is given by the Social Welfare Department as fee reimbursement for the economically weak meritorious. There is a provision to send fees to the students’ account on October 2 and January 26 of every year.

Due to the Karona epidemic, orders were issued not to spend the budget released for fee reimbursement without the consent of the Finance Department. In such a situation there has been confusion over the payment of fee reimbursement in the financial year 2020-21.

A budget of Rs 52,500 lakh for the fee reimbursement and scholarship of the general class and Rs 98,012 lakh for the fee reimbursement and scholarship for the scheduled castes and tribes is approved, but the finance department’s consent has to be taken before payment.

UP Scholarship Online Registration Process

The Government of UP has Provided the Scholarship to all the Students of SC/ ST/ Gen. Category/ OBC Category/ Minority Category of Accredited Educational Institution/ University. The Process of Online Application for the Courses of Accredited Educational Institution/ University is Started From the Education Year of 2014-2015. This Process will be Continue in the Year 2020-2021.

Step to Apply Online UP Scholarship at scholarship.up.nic.in 2020

Step I : New student registration

Step 1- Visit the UP Government’s Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Online System.

Step 2- On Home Page, Select the respective option as per the category and requirement (fresh/renewal registration).

Click on the “Student” section and select “New Registration”.

Step 3- Select the scholarship for which you want to apply.

Step 4- Now, Fill in all mandatory details that are marked with an *.

Step 5- Click on “Submit” to register.

Step 6- Take the print out of registration slip for future references.

Note: Once form will be submitted successfully, a registration slip will be generated. Print the registration slip and keep it safe for future references. After completing the registration process, applicants can proceed further to fill UP Scholarship application form.

Step II: Student Login

Once registered, click on the “Student” section and select “Fresh Login” option for fresh applications and “Renewal Login” option for renewal applications as per the scholarship you are applying for.

Step 8- Log in using your registration number, date of birth and password.

Step 9- You will be directed to a page containing important instructions regarding form filling.

Step 10- Read all instructions carefully and tick on the box given at the end of the page and click “Proceed”.

Step III: Filling the scholarship application

Step 11- Now, you click on the “Proceed” button, you will be directed to user dashboard.

Step 12- Click on “Fill in application form” section.

Step 13- Fill in further details in the scholarship application form.

Step 14- Click on submit.

Step IV: Upload all supporting documents

Once you click on submit after filling the application form, you need to upload your photograph and other supporting documents.

Step V: Final submission online

Check all the information entered in the application form carefully and make necessary changes before final submission. Click on “Submit” button for final submission. Take multiple printouts of the filled application form.

Step 6: Submission of form at the respective educational institution

After final submission of the scholarship application form, the applicants are required to take the print out of the form and submit it along with other supporting documents to their respective educational institutions.

How to Check UP scholarship status 2020-21?

• First of all, visit the UP Scholarship Official Website .

• Click on the tab given the name of the status .

• Click on the desired application year from the drop-down menu.
• Upload your registration number + date of birth.
• Click on the search button.
• The status of the application will be displayed on your screen.

Check UP Scholarship Status through PFMS

You just need to follow the below-given steps to check whether the scholarship amount has been received in your account or not.

Step 1: Visit the official home page of PFMS portal.

Step 2: Click on ‘Know your Payments’ tab.

Step 3: A separate page will open, where the students need to fill in the details asked like Bank Name, Account Number, and word verification. Once you have entered all the details, click on the ‘Search’ button.

Step 4: In case any detail entered is incorrect, the following window will appear.

Step 5: If the information entered is correct, the students will be able to see their scholarship status on the page. They can further click on the ‘Download’ button to save a PDF copy of the status.

Beneficiary Guidelines

• The applicant should just be a resident of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
• Applicants should enroll in any school or college in the state.
• For scholarships under the pre-matriculation class 9-10, students must study in class 9th or class 10th.
• For UP Scholarship Post Matriculation, students should have passed 10th (High School) and enrolled in class 11th or class 12th.
• Apart from 11-12 for UP scholarship post-matriculation, candidates must have passed 12th standard and be enrolled in higher education programs at any university in the state.

The Social Welfare Department has issued a timetable for scholarship applications for both these categories of students and educational institutions related to them. This information has been given by Siddharth Mishra, scholarship in-charge of the department. He informed that for the payment of scholarship and fees for post matriculation classes, applications will be made by recognized educational institutions located in the state to be included in the master data base from July 1 to August 31.

• अभ्यर्थी सामान्य, ओबीसी, एससी, एसटी वर्ग के हैं, उन्हें समान रूप से छात्रवृत्ति दी जाती है।
• आवेदन पत्र के साथ सभी छात्रों के लिए बैंक पासबुक की हार्ड कॉपी संलग्न करना अनिवार्य है।
• ऑफलाइन मोड में आवेदन पत्र जमा करने के बाद छात्रों को आवेदन पत्र की रसीद लेनी चाहिए।
