Through the implementation of Free laptop Scheme 2021, free laptops provided to the students of colleges. Apart from 10th/12th students, the benefit of this scheme will also be provided to the students having various diplomas such as plumber, carpenter, nurse, electrician etc. To get the benefit of this scheme, one has to apply online on the official website.
A 6-member committee will also be constituted under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate for the implementation of this scheme. The list will also be prepared by identifying the educational institutions by this committee.

Eligibility of UP Free Laptop / Smartphone / Tablet Yojana – Documents Required
- The student must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- Must have passed 10th / 12th Class with more than 65% marks.
- Students of diploma courses are also eligible for the scheme.
- The applicant should have regular admission to the college for higher education.
- Students doing Polytechnic Diploma and ITI Diploma are also eligible.

In the 10th board of UP, 83.31 per cent and 74.63 per cent students passed in the 12th. In high school (10th), Riya Jain of Barout-Baghpat topped the mark with 96.67 per cent marks.
