प्रदेश के उप मुख्यमंत्री डॉ. दिनेश शर्मा ने विभागीय अफसरों को हिदायत दी है कि छात्र-छात्राओं को लैपटॉप और स्मार्टफोन वितरण में न किसी की सिफारिश मानें और न ही किसी दबाव में आएं। उनके वितरण में पूरी तरह पारदर्शिता होनी चाहिए। उपमुख्यमंत्री ने स्पष्ट कहा कि हर कार्य निष्पक्षता व पारदर्शिता से करें।
भाजपा की बैठक में शामिल होने पहुंचे डॉ. दिनेश शर्मा ने वाराणसी के सर्किट हाउस में शिक्षा विभाग के मंडलीय अधिकारियों से विभागीय कामकाज का फीडबैक लिया। उन्होंने लैपटॉप-टैबलेट वितरण, नए भर्ती शिक्षकों की कार्यप्रणाली, स्कूलों में शिक्षण गुणवत्ता और बोर्ड परीक्षा की तैयारियों की जानकारी ली एवं आवश्यक दिशानिर्देश दिए।

उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान सरकार में बिना किसी दबाव व सिफारिश के अभ्यर्थी की योग्यता और पात्रता के आधार पर लाखों नियुक्तियां हुई हैं। इस क्रम में वाराणसी मंडल में 1645 प्रवक्ताओं की नियुक्ति हुई है।  डिप्टी सीएम ने मंडल के जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षकों से नवनियुक्त प्रवक्ताओं व संस्कृत विद्यालयों में योग्य संस्कृत अध्यापकों की नियुक्ति की जानकारी ली। उन्होंने न्यायालयों में लंबित प्रकरणों के बारे में भी पूछताछ की। आगामी बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के केंद्र निर्धारण पर उप मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकारी कॉलेज व ऐडेड कॉलेज को प्राथमिकता दें। विशेष स्थिति में पर ही स्ववित्तपोषित कॉलेज को परीक्षा केन्द्र बनाएं। यह देख लें कि परीक्षा केंद्र बनने वाले कॉलेजों में चहारदिवारी, जनरेटर/इनवर्टर, सीसीटीवी, पुरुष व महिला शौचालय, कंट्रोल रूम आदि आवश्यक व्यवस्थाएं उपलब्ध हों। उन्होंने काशी विद्यापीठ, संपूर्णानंद संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय, उच्च शिक्षा अधिकारी, जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षकों से उनकी दिक्कतें भी जानीं।
